Marijuana as a Cash Cow OR Mind Manure?

Thomas S. Kuhn, father of the phrase" Scientific Revolutions" -- linked the shift in professional commitments to shared assumptions "the tradition shattering complements to tradition bound activity of normal science." Of course, this required research and a solid body of supporters who developed the student's mind to support and continue the assumption and reinforced the scientist to find similar findings. (And, we worry about BrainWashing! )

Aristotle posed the first principle of honest scientific inquiry as: "First we must seek the fact, then seek to explain."

Today, we cast aside staid research in favor of endorsing the uninformed self-serving liberalism, public agenda which is favoring decriminalization of marijuana; followed by anticipated legalization of other drugs as further financial solutions to poor planning magnifies the rush to judgment without appropriate scientific measurement.

Routinely, new drugs are introduced into the medical arena only after rigorous testing, studies and certification. Instead, in our rush down the slippery slope, biased researchers are concluding the risk are negligible. NOT TRUE!

So-we have shallow proofs, bogus and misleading facts without systemic trials released on a populace which routinely is the first to sue all others for minor medical faults or errors. And all this is chosen as the solution to revise fiscal impropriety! The burden for use of this "non-standard drug", significantly more powerful than the "hits" of the 60's, is the eager consumer-seller? And under these unknown safety concerns we open the door to what? Prepare the minds to accept mush and mash the facts. Whose soul is for sale?

Meanwhile, while we are trying to reduce smoking as a health hazard, as we seek to put drivers on mainstream highways when the few drivers under influence of marijuana have a high correlation to impaired drivers. The new can't chant for highway patrol becomes "don't ask; don't smell." What will the new death rates from drug related intoxication become? The national record exceeds 40,000 each year since 1962 (except for a 39,000 dip in 1992). Will your child's life be a sacrifice to this new cause? Will that sacrifice be enough or do the open market salesmen need you to run their message throughout your neighborhood? Will it stop at grass?; you can bet you sweet _ _ _ !
